im sure you thought i would be one fo the guys disagreeing w/ you on the tire profile thing on timmigrants blog, but you are correct. a narrower tire @ a higher PSI will help in slicing thru thick mud and wet/ sandy trails.

heres the bike with the tires on.

I found if you put a little crazy glue on the screws threads before you put them in the tire it makes them last 3 times longer before they get ripped out.
