clipped pedals are always better, its the rider who can't use them comfortably - that's the problem. You can ride clipped in just like you can on flats, you just have way more control. Don't think so? Practice more.

Yea its kind of the opposite of what you'd think eh? Through all the testing I've done an aggressive narrow tire with higher psi is far better at holding a line. I could hit the same trail in the same conditions with a wide tire and be skatin' all over the place.

im sure you thought i would be one fo the guys disagreeing w/ you on the tire profile thing on timmigrants blog, but you are correct. a narrower tire @ a higher PSI will help in slicing thru thick mud and wet/ sandy trails.
